4 WEEKS TO REFLECT, RESEARCH, ENVISION & ASK

Every year the weeks leading up to review were one of our most stressful times especially at the beginning of our careers at ThoughtWorks. There was abundance of information but we didn’t know where to start. We thought it might be useful to share with you this handy journal based on our personal experiences of what worked for us: right from collecting the feedback up until the presentation.

This guide is very much a trial. We would like some quick feedback on our prototype before we could release it to a wider audience.

WHY WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK

Women are under-represented in Software industry. Lack of role models/mentors meant that we wouldn't receive the same amount of compensation, opportunities or promotions that our male peers receive because people make assumptions based on harmful stereotypes.

As women, we're told time and again to "just ask for what you want". Yet, we were clueless about approaching difficult situation like asking for a raise or promotion. This guide is essential in bridging this gap. We worked on our first prototype for a 4 week journal that will help layout the steps, articulate your pitch to approach your review with confidence.

Your feedback will help us to make the journal even more effective.

Good luck for your review!
